About Introma ZD2-SR Stitching Machine

The Introma ZD-2SR is a heavy duty high capacity Wire Stitching Machine capable of producing a standard stitch for both flat and saddle applications, loop stitch and stab stitch actions commonly used within the print and packaging markets.
Available with a single stitching head capable of stitching up to 200 times in one minute regardless of stock thickness up to the maximum stab depth of 40 mm. Flat stitch is offered on offset sheets up to 25 mm and on glossy coated digital materials up to 22 mm whilst saddle stapling is available up to 8 mm regardless of stock type.
Stitching machines offer high speed production, trouble free operation and very low running costs thanks to their use of stitching wire in place of pre-made staples or cartridges. Stitching wire costs under £15 for a drum capable of producing up to 50,000 documents before replacement is necessary, compared with staples the running costs are minute, therefore giving you a faster return on investment.
Operation is taken care of by the integrated foot pedal located at the base of the machine, this mechanical lever releases the latch on the constant drive and cycles the machine repeatedly until you let go of the pedal, very useful for multiple stitch applications.
