Touchline Card Creasing Family

Multigraf Eurofold - The Evolution of the Touchline

When Multigraf first started in 1985 they were synonymous with traditional style buckle plate folders, with the Eurofold and Foldmaster range.  Due to the rapid changes within the digital print market Multigraf were able to develop and change their thinking about folded paper and processing digital media.  In 2005 Multigraf completed research and development to understand the needs of the market and how they can provide what the market is demanding, firstly by developing parts of existing machinery to suit knife folding and creasing in a combined setup.

By 2008 Multigraf had created the first prototype and by 2009-2010 the first automated crease and fold solutions now known as the CF375 which were launched and the Touchline machinery range was created.

The Touchline Family of Machines

Touchline brings a whole new way of thinking to the digital print market with a range of unique and highly flexible products aimed at the short to production volume digital print markets. The Touchline family currently consists of several models known as the C375, CF375, CP375 (Mono and Duo), and the very latest addition the CPC375 XPRO and TCF375 XPRO.

Multigraf are continually developing and upgrading their Touchline range to meet the demands of the digital printer enabling some unique and exciting products to be brought to market.

Why Crease and Fold?

Often companies opt to only crease their digital print and either hand fold or send the materials out flat to save time and money.  However, sometimes it is not suitable for all applications as many high street retailers will not accept greeting cards in a flat package, this is where creasing and folding in a single pass steps in.

It can be easy to fold a sheet once it is creased however, it is not easy to fold 10,000 sheets.  As a result, high speed creasing and folding machines were developed by Multigraf.  Over the last 30 years Multigraf entered in to the creasing and now creasing and folding marketplace with their new range of Eurofold folders and Touchline creasing machines.  Multigraf built their reputation on buckle plate folding machines such as the Eurofold 435SM and 235KM medium volume pharmaceutical standard folding machines.  However, due to increased demand for digital print and creative and heavier substrates the buckle plate folding market became challenging for the short run digital market.  As a consequence, Multigraf successfully developed the Touchline CF375 automated crease and fold machine shortly followed by the Touchline CP375 high speed crease and perforation machine.  The Multigraf Touchline devises include several variations with the range topping CPC375 XPRO able to offer high speed creasing, slitting, perforating and cutting with market leading precision.  As an addition, the Multigraf CPC375 XPRO can be coupled with the TCF375 XPRO providing a full inline multifunctional device, capable of completing a fully folded project starting from a 2 or 3 up print on 1 sheet of card.

If there is a requirement to produce high volumes of greeting cards or other folded projects, then a Multigraf Crease & Fold solution will provide an efficient, economical and quality solution to any print room.
