The IDEAL 4605 is a compact high capacity and powerful industrial shredding machine suited to document disposal at a central location. The shredder has a feed table capable of accepting up to 70 sheets of 70gsm at a time, and also a top loading feeding hopper which accepts crumpled paper as well as flat sheets. Shredded material is collected in a 230 litre bin for further disposal or recycling. Touch panel operation and electronic indicators ensure the IDEAL 4605 is easy to operate which a host of automatic stop functions ensures that it is always safe to operate.
Centralised shredding ensures that assured destruction of all documentation is possible to maintain corporate security. The IDEAL 4605 industrial shredding machine provides a highly effective shredding resource for an internal operation not wanting to trust destruction of unwanted documents to an outside provider. It is simple to operate, and with a hopper to accept crumpled paper from waste bins, versatile enough to ensure that all paper documentation can be destroyed. Cross cut versions offer higher levels of security reassurance by reducing material to smaller particles. The 460mm wide feeder accepts all types of paper to 70 sheets of 70gsm paper.
The 230 litre collection bin is mounted on casters for easy removal even when full. Photocell triggers the motor when paper is fed and stops motor when no paper is detected. Hopper feed for easy feeding of waste bin contents. Fold out table for flat feeding of paper, reports etc to be shredded. Powerful 2.2kW motor copes with any task while hardened steel shafts are guaranteed for TWO years use. Automatic stop when either front door or hopper door is opened and when collection bin is full.

Fantastic product and fantastic customer service 5 stars. I purchased this industrial shredder to replace our old and dated version and I’m pleased with my selection. Spoke to one of the guys at the Finishing Point and based on what I told them about what I would be using it for they said that the Ideal 4605 Security Level P5 Crosscut Industrial Shredding Machine would be best suited. The office I work in, the paperwork must be disposed of correctly and this machine does just that.
