About Duplo DC446 IFS (Crease & Fold)

The Duplo DC446 IFS is a fully automated vacuum fed creasing and folding solution perfectly adapted to the requirements of digital print. By creasing the sheet before folding, it overcomes the problem of toner cracking and ensures visually stunning final document. Set-up is fully automatic, the foot print is small and the whole machine can be run by a single operator.

Step by step touch panel set up stores and recalls the programmes for 30 jobs to save time on repeat product types. A 100mm feed tray capacity and 110mm delivery tray means the DC446 Creaser can run unattended leaving an operator to attend other tasks. All settings are controlled from the main screen on the DC446 so both the crease and fold position are instantly set. Suction feed removes the risk of marking with an optional air knife to help separate sheets ahead of feeding if static is an issue. An optional ultra sonic double sheet detector prevents miss-feeds. Skew and shrinkage adjustments compensate for any image placement issues. By integrating the IFS folding section the work is creased and folded in a single pass, thus allowing a higher productivity within your finishing department.
