About GMP Pro-Topic Auto 540 Digital Laminating Machines (Pneumatic B2)

The GMP Pro-Topic 540 AUTO POD digital laminating machines are a B2 Fully Automatic Single Side Pneumatically Controlled Laminating solution built on to the same platform as the Q-Topic 380 Auto. The automation is created by housing a suction fed and fully adjustable PRO Mini feeder on to the front of the machine. Totally automated feeding is possible at speeds up to 15 Metres per Minute and for sheet sizes up to B2 (Max Sheet Size 540 x 750 mm). Load up to 1,500 sheets press go and walk away!
The Pro-Topic 540 Auto is designed to offer an in-house laminating solution for Medium to High Run lengths, on demand digital applications as well as the more traditional lithographic outputs. It is particularly useful for print companies who offer both digital and traditional print methods as the ease of use is perfect for short run but the automation and speed also suits higher volumes when necessary.
The system incorporates the latest in pneumatics and combines the benefits of GMP’s PRO AUTO Feed system with their patented feed gate control for quick, reliable and accurate feeding with millimetre precision on the sheet overlap. A built in double perforation action of the laminate is completed on both the unwind stage and after the lamination has been performed to ensure perfect and reliable burst action every time. Each perfectly laminated sheet arrives on the delivery table ready to guillotine.
The Pro-Topic 540 Auto also offers the latest Sleeking and Foiling applications to be produced right out of the box, no special add ons or aftermarket bolt ons required, unpack, setup and you are ready to go. Designed from the ground up to offer the latest technology for the POD markets and incorporates a built-in re-winder enabling holographic images, foils and gloss or matt spot lamination to be applied to your sheet without any special skills or tools.

Metallic foils and spot lamination effects simply bond to digital toners and allow intricate designs to be produced with ease. Over laying the foils with coloured toners from your digital press creates unique metallic inks and effects which can be utilised to create specialist one off print pieces, ideal for variable data and adding to your revenue and business capabilities.
