About Ideal 4005 Security Level P2 Stripcut Shredder

The IDEAL 4005 is a very high volume top departmental centralised office shredder with self oiling and high capacity shred capability. The Ideal 4005 can cope with CD’s as well as paper materials up to A3 without the need to fold before shredding. Added to this the ability to shred up to 55 sheets in a single pass makes the Ideal 4005 a great addition to the large office environment. It is designed for easy, safe operation through an Easy Switch feature which indicates the operational status of the shredder and a number of automatic stop functions to prevent accidents or problems occurring. Chief of these is the transparent safety flap which guards the opening to the shredder to prevent the unintended entry of fingers, clothing and the like. A cross cutting version increases the security of shredding by cutting paper into 4 x 40mm or even smaller 2 x 15mm particles to meet the requirements of level P4 and level P5 of the Security standard. The Ideal 3105 is also available in Micro Cut (0.8 x 12mm) as well as Super Micro Cut (0.8 x 5mm) for the ultimate in volume security shredding. A 210 litre bin allows for considerable use before the bag needs to be replaced.

Further safety devices on the door are activated when opened or when the 210 litre bag is full. On standby mode, the shredder begins operation when the photo cell detects paper and stops again when the paper has been fed. The 310mm opening will accept up to 55 sheets of 70gsm paper.
