Utilising the powerful versatility of the Duplo DC445 as a feed engine and as a two knife slitter, the 350 CR is ideal for the short to medium volume digital print output. 30 programs offer a load and go solution offering unattended operation and the removal of guillotining from your process of booklet production.

Why buy? For business owners
The 350 CR Duplo Booklet Maker is a modular system combining a DC445 Crease solution, booklet maker, trimmer and optional square spine module (ASM350). It is a real alternative to dedicated in-line booklet makers, providing features such as job integrity (for confidence that production is correct), fast operation, inline two knife slitting to avoid the need to guillotine, stitching heads and a book press for a quality finish. A well proven feeding device allows the system to be operated by the same persons who are running the presses, ensuring continuity of management and control, as well as savings in staffing costs.
Being a modular system, Duplo has a range of alternative feeding and finishing devices that provide the business owner with the opportunity to upgrade or change devices as your needs change and business develops.
Why buy? For operators
The 350 CR Booklet Makers are operated from an intuitive LCD Display located on the DC445 Creaser/Feeder that allows simple programming, adjustments and job recall from a 30 Program Memory. Automated control is made from this point, allowing quick setup between jobs. The feeding system uses a combination of top feeding, high speed fans and active anti-static devices to ensure consistent operation. The paper follows a relatively flat paper path under transparent safety covers, allowing the operation to be monitored and adjustments made. Stitching heads, book press and optional square spine (ASM350) module ensure a quality production. The DC445 Crease/Feed can also be used as a standalone creaser offering more versatility to this solution.
Highlights
• A wide variety of digital print can be handled without being tied to one particular legacy of print engine, or (as often happens) reducing the speed of the press to suit the inline finisher.
• Production speeds of typically 2 or 3 times faster than printing speeds, meaning that the work from multiple engines can go through one finishing line.
• Scaleable architecture; interchange system components and features as your business grows.
• Two Knife inline Slitting Removes Needs for Guillotining before booklet Production can begin
• Inline Creasing of all sheets prevents toner cracking and also allows for a perfect bound finished look.
• Press usage that is independent of finishing demands or availability.
• Job control and security by using bar codes to assure accurate production
• Operation can typically be made by the press operator whilst also running the presses
• A wide range of paper formats are supported which reflect the huge changes in demand and applications possible today, especially because of the far greater use of digital colour print which is constantly extending its own technological boundaries.
• Production of small and odd-size booklets that can be printed 2-up on a sheet; providing a broader range of finished job and halving print costs.
